The laws of England and Wales govern these terms and conditions. Privacy Statement We are committed to protecting your privacy.  Authorised employees within our company, on a need to know basis only, may use any information collected from you.  We will investigate any breaches of your data privacy and data protection, with a view to prosecuting and/or taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible. Confidentiality All our customer records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than our member drivers and partner companies and, if legally required to do so, to the appropriate authorities.  Customers have the right to request sight of, and copies of, any and all records we keep about them, on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such a request.  Each request will incur an admin charge of £20 payable in advance.  You are requested to retain copies of any literature and electronic communication issued in relation to the provision of our services.  We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail.  Any emails sent by us will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services. Our site is designed to help you book the taxi or private hire vehicles operated by us or our partner companies.  This site must not be used for any other purpose.  If any losses or damages result from your misuse of this site you will be held fully responsible and we will not accept any liability. If you need to amend or cancel your booking then you must contact us immediately. Failure to do this in sufficient time may result in your still needing to pay a travel fee to the provider even if you are unwilling or unable to take the journey. If we feel or have reasonable grounds to suspect that you are abusing the service and are consistently cancelling bookings we reserve the right to permanently ban you from using the service. The company and its member drivers reserve the right to refuse to carry passengers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs and who in the opinion of the driver pose a threat to him/herself or his/her vehicle. It is the customer’s obligation to actively seek out any taxi they book and to provide a working mobile or landline telephone number. The company and its member drivers will do all they reasonably can to ensure the taxi is waiting in an appropriate place for customers to find and will assist customers at all times. If you expect there to be issues with your journey you are required to contact us in order to ensure appropriate action can be taken. Estimated Journey Prices and Payment All prices shown on this site are a guide only and do not include admission fees to attractions.  In the majority of cases this will prove to be 100% accurate or a very close estimate.  However, if there are changes to your journey plan, or other factors that impact the fulfilment of your journey, the final price you are charged may be different to the original estimate provided. The taxi meter will be set at the booked time (in the case of advance bookings), or on arrival (if booked "ASAP"). In using this website you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions: General YOURtaxi, the “site” (your-taxi.co.uk) is owned and operated by Your Taxi LLP (“Our”, “The Company”, “Our Company” “YOURtaxi”, “Us”, “We”). The following terms (“Terms of Use”, “Terms”, “Terms and conditions”) govern your (“You”, “Your”) access to and use of Our Site.  Please review these Terms of Use carefully.  By accessing and/or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Service and Bookings Web bookings are considered in the first instance to be non-time critical and will be replied to within hours rather than within minutes. Our site is designed to help you book the taxi or private hire vehicles operated by us or our partner companies.  This site must not be used for any other purpose.  If any losses or damages result from your misuse of this site you will be held fully responsible and we will not accept any liability. Whilst we review the performance and quality of service delivered by YOURtaxi and our partners and take this very seriously we cannot be held directly responsible in any instances whereby their service lets you down and you may suffer losses or damage as a result.  We do not endorse any individual provider. Your Responsibility and Liability Our site is intended only for use by people aged 18 or over.  By using the site you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and will be bound to these terms.  If this is not the case you must stop using the site immediately and not return until you reach that age. In agreeing to these terms you are confirming that all passengers under any of your bookings also agree to these terms. You are required to enter all information required by the site in good faith, and as completely and accurately as possible at all times. Any loss or damage caused as a result of your passing on or failing to effectively protect your credentials will be solely your responsibility, and we will not accept any liability in such cases. It is your responsibility to ensure that you select a pickup time that leaves you sufficient time to reach your destination.  It is also your responsibility to ensure that your booking details are correct for your journey and to inform us if there are any errors or if your plans change. Unless otherwise stated in writing by the customer and accepted by the company all such bookings are 1 pick-up and 1 drop-off only. Deviation from this arrangement without 12 hours notice will result in the fare reverting to a metered fare. All metered journey cost estimates are offered in good faith, neither the company or its member drivers can be held responsible for any variations from those good faith estimations. The taxi meter will be set at the booked time (in the case of advance bookings), or on arrival (if booked "ASAP"). It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that they board the taxi promptly to keep the fare to a minimum. Payment is made in full to the driver fulfilling your journey order (unless an arrangement has been agreed in writing) and are accepted in cash or via Cheque (by prior arrangement). YOURtaxi drivers are always happy to stop at a convenient ATM for cash to be used and receipts are always available. A Cash, Cheque, or Bank Transfer deposit will be required on all high value or multiple taxi bookings and may or may not be refundable subject to subsequent clauses contained within these Terms & Conditions.
